Why document every single week?
Because a puppy changes faster than you'd think. Merle colouring settles in around six weeks. A collie's ears rise, then fold over at just the right point — or they don't. A litter photographed weekly gives an adopting family a real visual record, not one photo cherry-picked out of a hundred.
It's also a breeding tool: Camille reviews the sessions to track each puppy's structure before they're even walking normally. Two uses, one sitting.
- Week 3 — eyes open, first session.
- Week 5 — coat colour starts to settle.
- Week 6 — puppy-to-family matching, based on observed temperament.
- Week 8 — final session, then home with the full album.
